Currently I work as a Program Assistant for the Digital Preservation Outreach and Education program in the Office of Strategic Initiatives at the Library of Congress.

Apart from my work at the Library, I am interested in leveraging open technology to enhance scholarship. Specifically, I am interested in how technology can be used to explore the foundations of ethics, research, and teaching in the academy.

At the moment I am working on an open-review Word History volume with a colleague at San Francisco State University. We were inspired by Hacking the Academy but especially the more recent Writing History in the Digital Age. Our project explores ethics, research, and teaching in the discipline of World History.
